Marrawah Kelp is a proud, Tasmanian-owned and operated family business, established in August 2000.

Since our beginnings, we have been dedicated to producing premium, sustainably harvested bull kelp from Tasmania’s pristine northwest coastline.

All kelp is harvested legally and sustainably, in full compliance with rigorous environmental impact studies, reserve activity assessments, and approvals from Parks and Wildlife, the Fisheries Department, and cultural heritage authorities.

This ensures our operations protect the natural environment while maintaining the highest standards of responsibility and care.

From our humble beginnings operating out of an old gravel pit, Marrawah Kelp has grown into a dynamic, modern processing facility. Through years of hard work and innovation, we now produce what is widely regarded as some of the cleanest kelp in the world.

Our certified organic products are sold both locally and internationally. We take great pride in everything we do — from sustainable harvesting to premium quality — delivering trusted kelp products that reflect the purity and strength of Tasmania’s natural environment.
